  1. Hey Kristen, I appreciate your comments on my Week 2 story. I really enjoy fleshing out details in the Ramayana that did not have a whole lot of attention in the original story, and maybe even making up a few details for good measure. Kaikeyi has so much passion and I could not resist the opportunity to flesh out on her feelings. Can't wait to read more of your work!

  2. Hi Kristen! I really like the way you have your portfolio set up. The three stories are absolutely great! The one that stood out to me was Sita's Trial. I liked that you told it from Sita's perspective, and I like the inner monologue feeling that you gave. It helped me illustrate Sita's emotion as a reader effortlessly. One suggestion I would give you is maybe put in a bit more dialogue, to fully give the reader the image of the trial. Your font and overall feel was very easy to follow along, and I liked that you broke up the story with paragraphs. Overall, I think you are on the right track and everything seems to look great! Great job.

  3. Hey Kristen! I really enjoyed your portfolio! You added a lot of details in your story and most of them are really in depth which I enjoyed reading. I liked your story with The Case of Thataka and Sita's Trial. It was pretty cool that you used a crime scene as a story. You made the story interesting and intriguing. The idea of Sita's perspective meeting Rama again was a good story as well. Although you made her sound weak begging for Rama's love, but I think that is how it really was in the Ramayana. Unfortunately, Sita is so madly in love with Rama that she is willing to do anything to win him back. I wished this part of the book which change because it made me see Rama as a completely different character.
Overall, I enjoyed how you depicted the different tensions between Sita and Rama. I also liked how you are so detailed and careful with your writing, I really can't find any grammatical errors. I can also see that you added Sita's emotions in the last story which is significant since she was abandoned. It's so sad to see Sita being hurt but I guess thats how the story went. Anyways good job on your portfolio. Your stories are great! Keep up the good work!
